About Farmington New Mexico Chamber
The Farmington Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is organized for the purpose of promoting the civic, industrial, educational, commercial and business interest of the City of Farmington, Northwest New Mexico (San Juan County) and the State of New Mexico.
Incorporated January 9, 1953, the Farmington Chamber of Commerce operates on membership investments and a voluntary association of business people. Chamber membership is open to any business deciding to invest in the betterment of our community.

Banquet Committee
Ginger Palmer, Farmington Savings Bank.
Meetings:
Noon, First Wednesday of the Month
Assists in the preparation of the Annual Membership Meeting and Banquet by organizing and decorating the banquet hall according to the outgoing board president's requested theme.
Education Committee

4pm, Fourth Tuesday of the Month
Welcomes new teachers by hosting a New Teachers' Luncheon for Farmington Schools as well as an ice cream social for Central Consolidated schools. Implemented the Choices program, taught to every ninth grade class in Farmington schools by business professionals within the Chamber.
Health and Wellness Committee

Dr. Carletta Thompson, San Juan Rehabilitation Hospital
Meetings:
3:30pm, First Tuesday of the Month
Responsible for an annual health fair, publishes a yearly health and wellness directory, creating a wellness advice calendar, and promotes exercise initiatives in the workplace.

Responsible for publishing a legislative brochure stating the Chamber's perspective on issues as they concern the Chamber's membership base.
Promotion and Special Events Committee

4pm, First Thursday of the Month
Responsible for creating and implementing new fundraisers for the Chamber, most recently the Music on the Rocks event in conjunction with the San Juan Symphony.
Redcoat Ambassadors

Meetings:
Noon, Second Monday of the Month
Official ambassadors for the Farmington Chamber of Commerce, participating in ribbon cuttings, ground breakings, and makes a yearly trek to the NM Legislative Session in Santa Fe.
Telecommunications and Transportation Committee

Takes initiative in local and regional telecommunication and transportation issues as they affect private and business interests.
