Redcoat Ambassadors ventured out on a very windy Farmington day to help Kim Noyes with Special K Fitness break ground on her new facility. When construction is finished later this year Kim and her staff will have room to expand.
United Blood Services held their Grand Opening on Friday, February 24, 2006, at their new location at 475 East 20th Street Suite A. The Farmington Chamber of Commerce Redcoat Ambassadors were on hand to conduct the ribbon cutting ceremony. United Blood Services will now have a hospital services department, where blood can be stored. Before they moved into their new facility, blood was stored in Albuquerque, meaning that the wait could be as long as four hours for delivery. The new facility is very warm and inviting to help donors feel welcome.
