About Us

Since 1960, NIYC, Inc. continues to successfully operate an Employment & Training Program, funded by the U.S. Dept. of Labor Workforce Investment Act Title 1 Section 166. The Employment & Training Program aims to improve the economic & social welfare of Native Americans by providing access to training & education.
1. CORE SERVICES: include job search & coaching, job development, referrals, placements, resume writing, and assistance in completing employment & education applications.
2. INTENSIVE SERVICES: include testing & assessment, development of an Individual Employment Plan, coaching & supportive services.
3. TRAINING SERVICES: include Work Experience & Classroom Training based on availability of funds.
Farmington Field Office services Native Americans that live off the reservation.
